From environmental to circular conscious

Several years ago, Redie's management team set a goal to transform Redie from environmentally conscious to circularly conscious. The starting point for this was the inspiration we found in the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Raw Materials Agreement 2017 and the Netherlands Circular 2050 and later the European Green Deal 2019.

FROM ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS TO CIRCULAR CONSCIOUSNESS

Redie has great ambitions in the run-up to the Netherlands Circular 2030 / 2050 and has set itself the goal of integrating circularity into its core business in the next 4 years.

For us, circularity is not only about the end product, but also about the production itself.
We take into account the materials and the product parts. This starts with limiting the number of plate material as much as possible (the plate material is optimized when ordering) so that we purchase as little as possible and therefore produce less waste.

MINIMIZING RAW MATERIALS

We are currently working hard to close all raw material chains. The aim is to minimize the use of raw materials and energy and to ensure that the raw materials and energy used have the least possible impact on people and the environment. The aim is that these raw materials can be reintroduced into the raw material chain, without requiring energy recovery or worse, being dumped in landfill. To achieve this goal, we use the 9 R's of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation: Reduce, Redesign, Re-use, Repair, Refurbish, Remanufacture, Repurpose, Recycle and Recover.

Redie's core qualities enable us to offer circular applications in interior construction. Redie acts as a partner in this regard.

We will keep you informed of the latest developments via this website.
