Heenvliet, The Netherlands

At the Markt in Heenvliet stands a monumental building full of character.
For years it had been deteriorating, yet it still held plenty of atmosphere and potential.

In collaboration with and commissioned by Horeca Totaal Bouw we transformed the property into a complete hospitality venue and created the entire custommade interior.

Extensive interior transformation
The interior was thoroughly overhauled. The interior architect gave the building a clear upgrade by designing a sightline above the bar toward the first floor. This intervention was made structurally possible by installing steel beams, which were finished in a wood-look by Horeca Totaal Bouw’s painter–artist.

Above the open space, three copper beertanks have been mounted to the ceiling, a striking eye-catcher that immediately defines the atmosphere.
The result: calm for the guest, clarity for the staff.

Bars on two floors, one identity
On both levels, Redie built a bar in accordance with the desired design. The fronts are executed in oak veneer, with vertical oak slats creating a clean rhythm, complemented by a copper plinth and a steel bottle canopy above the bar.
All materials used are suitable for intensive, daily hospitality use.

Back bar and wine cabinet
We produced a back wall with integrated technical facilities.
The wine cabinet features LED lighting on each shelf, seamlessly concealed in the upper section.
One compartment serves as a technical space and remains completely out of sight.

Additional custom elements
In addition to the bars and back wall, we created:
• a custom coffee unit
• a compact storage/workoffice
• various built-in elements for equipment and storage, routing and user convenience

All components align precisely with the supplied design and the construction plan from Horeca Totaal Bouw.
